Cham Culture Immersion & Angkor Expedition
Day 1: Arrival to Phnom Penh
Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh international airport, our tour leaders will welcome you and transfer to your hotel. Relax and get fresh up and head to your first Cambodian Cuisine, then have your orientation and introduction to Cambodian culture!

Day 2: Phnom Penh Excursion
Arrun Sursdai! This morning you will have your first Khmer language lessons as a good way to start immersing yourself in Khmer Culture. Today you will head to two historic museums to learn about the recent history of Cambodia, S21 Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields.
Later in the afternoon, visit a famous market, Central Market, built during the French colonization and is a good place to shop souvenirs for family and friends.
Phnom Penh, the capital city, has a number of things to offer. Today you will visit the Royal Palace, learn about the history of monarchy, the architecture and religion revolution in the kingdom. Then head to Wat Phnom, the birthplace of Phnom Penh in the 14th century.

Day 3-4: Cham Village Homestay and Cultural Exchange
Embark on the river boat to a small village north of the capital city, where you will spend your next two days staying in the homestay and participate in English conversations with local students who are keen to improve their English. Learn about Cham minority culture and the tradition.
Overnight: Traditional Homestays, Kampong Chhnang
Day 5-6: Battambang Tour
Continue your journey to Battambang, a riverside town, it is known to be a home of the best-preserved colonial buildings in the country. Explore the famous Banan Temple, built dated back in the 11th century on the top of a 400 meters hill, enjoy your hike with such a breathtaking view.
Visit Phnom Sampov, the heritage to local people, explore the cave and the incredible Batcave!
Last but not least, ride the famous bamboo train (Lorry) to explore the local villages!

Day 7-9: Siem Reap Sightseeing
Bid farewell to Battambang and make your way to Siem Reap. It is an easy town to fall in love with, especially while strolling through night markets for some shopping.
Enjoy great Khmer cuisine while in the city and participate in various activities.
Visit the Cambodian Circus, an inspiring acrobatic show performed by students from Phare Ponleu Selpak, an organization that works with youth on art-based education.
Explore the ancient city of Angkor, witness the sunrise at Angkor Wat, learn about the intricate carvings of Angkor’s historic battle scenes, see the smiley face temple-Bayon Temple and the famous Tomb-raider temple, Ta Prohm.

Day 10: Departure Day
